Our Mission

The World's First AI Hackathon Built for Africa

VibeCode Africa is a community-driven nonprofit that advances AI literacy and applied skills among Africans and their allies across the continent and its diaspora. Through recurring virtual and in-person training and build events, we equip participants—particularly those at risk of exclusion from the digital economy—to create wealth and opportunity for themselves, and to design AI-driven solutions to local challenges. Our mission is to ensure Africans are not left behind in the global AI economy, but stand among its builders, contributors, and innovators powering Africa’s rise.
